Mythology
The Phantom Queen
The Morrígan is one of the most formidable supernatural figures in Irish mythology, associated with battle, fate, sovereignty and prophecy.
She appears prominently in the Ulster Cycle and is closely connected with Cú Chulainn. Their encounters move between confrontation, prophecy and the supernatural, with the Morrígan repeatedly appearing around moments of conflict and death.
She is also associated with shape-changing and can appear in different forms, including that of a crow or raven. Her presence on the battlefield makes her one of the most powerful and mysterious figures in the mythology behind Celtic Clash.
