The Dagda's cauldron is one of the great symbols of abundance in Irish mythological tradition.
The Dagda himself is associated with plenty, hospitality and supernatural power. Later tradition places his cauldron among the celebrated treasures of the Tuatha Dé Danann, an object whose abundance could not easily be exhausted.
Its Celtic Clash ability reflects that tradition of renewal, sustenance and seemingly inexhaustible provision.
